1950 Nostalgia Ford
"Radical Custom Tudor"
History: Car was customized in the '60's by Larry
Krammer {still have badge and photo's) then restored and fully customized
in 1999 by Chuck out at Rods and Restoration in Sanford Florida (car has
this badge too!) have all pictures and receipts of documentation. This one
is solid and era correct with the exception of the mirrors (not billet!)
and alternator.
Body Modifications: Full restoration before any modifications
rust and weak spots have been removed forever!!! This car will outlive you,
chopped 3 1/2", nosed, decked, shaved, doors have
been rounded and angled, "B" post angled, dual
frenched antennas, hood louvered and peeked, fenders
peeked, frenched headlights and taillights, front bumper set in
towards wheel well, 1 1/2" lip, floating DeSoto
grill, rear wheel skirts, Chevy license plate mount, lid has
been filled, '51 Ford lid internal hinges, door and trunk
electric poppers, all windows including vent windows are functuable,
really cool and old custom made front wheel hub caps, fuel fill in
trunk, Chevy trim
Engine Modifications: Original 1950 Flathead engine bored
.0125" with a Mercury 4" crank, displacement in the
270's, Fenton "Super" 2x2 manifold, Ford 94 carbs,
Fenton headers, Smitty's mufflers, Mallory electronic ignition
complete, Carter electric fuel pump, 12v alternator, new
recore radiator, Helling and Stellings air cleaners
Trans and Rear: All stock 1950. 3 on the tree.
Suspension: Fatmans 2" drop spindles in the front,
3" lowering blocks in the rear, original drum brakes all
around, majority of the car is full 1950 stock.
Interior: Tuck and roll vinyl with small melt patch
that can be fixed, dash is original and so is column, 3 on the
column, all 12v conversion with new Painless wire harness, 12v
wiper, superb Sony radio system with custom panels with components in
front and 12" bass speaker in rear, amplifiers for that amazing
sound.
Elvis never sounded better!!!
